This job involves
carefully dealing with returned items in the warehouse. It means receiving
them, noting details, and updating records promptly and accurately in the
company’s system. Doing this well helps the warehouse run smoothly and handle
returned items effectively.
You will report to the
Team Lead- Reverse Logistics. This is an on-site role in Nairobi, Central
Duties & Responsibilities
all stock returns are processed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner in
the relevant systems, including Dynamics 365, M-Kopa-net, EAB, and Freshdesk.
accurate records of all returns daily and capture accurate stock dispositions
of aged, obsolete, and defective stock based on the source shop.
correspondence to other departments, e.g. fraud, field customer care, and field
audit team, on the status of returned stock
zero stock variance in inventory management by ensuring the accuracy of
inventory system transactions.
in cycle counting, stock-taking, and reconciliation processes
and transfer good/ok returned components to the main warehouse to be added to
their stock and eventually go back to the market as good stock or swap stock
and transfer faulty stock to repair/refurb locations on the system and
physically for repair/refurb processes to follow.
various periodic and ad hoc reports, including aging/disposal reports and
customer-allocated device reports.
with the device operations, engineering, and telesales teams on faulty devices,
components, and add-ons.
ad hoc necessary support to the various departments, e.g., the field operations
team and the field audit team.
other duties commensurate with the post as directed by the Team Lead- Reverse
Qualifications & Experiences
in Stores /Warehouse management/Supply Chain Or any related field
year of work experience in a similar position
in using inventory management system
to detail and numerical accuracy
presentation skills and ability to work in a team
work ethic and integrity
