Legal & Quality Assurance Officer Job in Kenya

Our client, Riskhouse
International is a professional services firm providing Forensic Investigation,
Risk Management, and Compliance Services to various cadres of clients. The
Nairobi Head Office seeking to fill the following position:


Principal Accountabilities:

Advise the management and the team on changes to the laws
affecting the company and the services rendered;

Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal
risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken;

Provide legal protection and risk management to the company;
Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training,
and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to the team;

Formulate legal compliance check-lists for all engagements
undertaken by the company;

Continuously monitor compliance with statutory obligations
and advise management accordingly;

Draft/review and compile engagement reports in a concise,
factual, and timely manner;

Present investigation results as evidence and give testimony
in a court of law when necessary;

Develop and implement business development and brand
visibility strategy for the Company for both existing and new clients;

Ensure that the quality of reports to clients is maintained;
Ensure that client’s expectations and demands are met and
their concerns addressed;

Work closely with the team to maintain standards of

Formulate quality measurements checklists to track
improvement in service delivery;

Provide management and control of the quality assurance

Foster business development in liaison with the General
Manager; and

Execute such other tasks as shall be located to you by your
Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications, Experience, and knowledge:

Second Class Upper Bachelor’s degree in law
Equivalent of 2 – 3 years post-admission qualification
experience with the ability to exercise independent judgment

Knowledge of research methodologies, concepts, practices, and

Quick execution of instructions in a manner that does not
compromise the quality of the services
