Accounts Assistant Job in Kenya

HRD/FD/ACS/01/2024.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage accounting transactions

Prepare budget forecasts

Handle periodic management reports

Management of accounts payables

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Assist in preparation of final
accounts

Check and assist on compliance with
company policies in relation to financial operations

Ensure compliance with financial
policies and regulations

Skills and Personal attribute


Reporting Skills

Strong attention to detail and good
analytical skills

Able to handle tight deadlines

Data Entry and information storage

Analytical skills

Kenyan Dynamic Tax Laws

Excellent knowledge of accounting
regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted

Accounting
Principles (GAAP)

Hands-on experience with accounting
software’s

MS Office Knowledge

Experience with general ledger
functions

Experience in Bookkeeping

Academic
and professional experience

Minimum three (2) years’ experience in
a busy accounting environment

CPA 2 and above Certification
